Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Seleto Apps ("Seleto", "we", "us") handles information in connection with our Shopify apps, including Seleto Bundles (the "Apps"). By installing or using an App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Store information. When a merchant installs an App, Shopify provides your store domain and grants the App access to the resources needed to run (e.g. products, discounts, and theme app blocks), per the scopes shown at install.
- Configuration data. The bundles, offers, styles and settings you create are stored so the App can render and apply them.
- Anonymous storefront analytics. To power funnel metrics (views, add-to-cart, conversion), the App records non-personal events tied to a random, rotating session identifier. These events are not linked to a customer's identity.
- Diagnostic/error data. We capture technical error details (message, stack trace, app version) to fix bugs. These contain no customer personal data.
We do not collect customer names, emails, addresses, or payment details. Order-based metrics (revenue, units) are read live from Shopify and are not stored as customer records.
2. How we use information
- To provide, operate and improve the Apps.
- To display analytics and diagnostics to the merchant.
- To provide support and respond to requests.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Data sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers that host the Apps (for example, our cloud hosting), strictly to operate the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data retention & deletion
Configuration data is kept while the App is installed. Anonymous analytics and diagnostic events are retained on a rolling 90-day window. When you uninstall an App — or when Shopify sends a shop/customer redaction request — we delete the associated data. You can also request deletion at any time by emailing us.
5. GDPR / data requests
We honor Shopify's mandatory data-protection webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact). Because the Apps store no customer-identifying data, customer data requests return no personal records; shop data is deleted on shop redaction or uninstall.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
